How to choose iron silicon aluminum core and ferrite core

There are not only many important parameters about inductance, but also important requirements for the raw materials used. Only good materials can be used to produce good products. Magnetic cores are very important for any inductive component. We have briefly understood several inductive magnetic cores before, such as ferrite cores, manganese-zinc, nickel-zinc, iron-silicon-aluminum, etc. How to choose the oxygen core and the iron-silicon-aluminum core when using it?
Among the several magnetic cores we introduced before, they are commonly used magnetic cores in inductance components. If they are arranged, the order is nickel-zinc, manganese-zinc, and then ferrite cores. In fact, the ferrite core includes the iron-silicon-aluminum core, and then the nanocrystalline magnetic ring of the amorphous tape. These types of inductor cores are the most commonly used types of cores in production.
The iron silicon aluminum core belongs to the ferrite core, which is a type of ferrite core.
The ferrite core has:
1. High permeability
2. Good temperature characteristics, with a wide temperature range
3. Low attenuation rate.
The main uses of ferrite core inductors are: signal processing, power conversion, EMI suppression, application of large magnetic cores, etc.
The characteristics of FeSiAl magnetic core are:
1. The magnetic flux density of FeSiAl is twice that of ferrite. Under the same volume, FeSiAl cores can store much higher energy than ferrite.
2. Under high temperature conditions, the full magnetic flux density of FeSiAl will not decrease, but the full magnetic flux density of ferrite will drop significantly.
3. FeSiAl has soft and full characteristics, and can withstand higher current values. If the safe current value is exceeded, the function of the inductor will not be greatly affected.
Both of them can be used as magnetic cores for power inductors.
