The principle of inductance, what Lenz's law, the right-hand rule, etc., we will not discuss. In fact, the use of inductors, we should pay attention to, are still several basic parameters of the inductor: inductance value, rated current, resonant frequency, quality factor (Q value). When it comes to inductance value, we all know it well. As for inductance, what we pay attention to is its "inductance value".
The key is to understand what the inductance value represents. What does the inductance value represent? The inductance value represents, if the value is larger, indicating this inductance, the more energy it can store. Then we have to consider whether the inductance value is large or small, how much or less energy it stores, and what role it has. In what occasions the inductance value should be large, and in what use the inductance value should be small.
At the same time, after understanding the concept of inductance value, combined with the theoretical formula of inductance, you can understand what affects the value of inductance in the production of inductance, and how to increase or decrease it. The current rating is also simple, just like the resistor, because the inductor is in series in the circuit, and current must flow through it. The resonant frequency is not very easy to understand. It must be understood that the actual inductor used is not an ideal component. It will have parameters such as equivalent capacitance and equivalent resistance. The resonant frequency means that below this frequency, the physical characteristics of the inductor still behave like an inductor, and above this frequency, it no longer behaves like an inductor.
